The
Powderwood is just off Whistler Road in Creekside and is
a great choice for being close to the Vancouver Whistler
2010 Olympic Games. The townhome is about 2500 square feet.
There is a double garage. At the back of the garage is the
furnace room with drying racks. There is an outside entrance
on the right side of the building, although we normally
enter via the garage. It is half a flight up to the entrance
foyer and another half a flight up to the level with the
kitchen, dining area and livingroom. Another half a flight
takes you up to the level of the bedroom with queen size
bunkbeds, another bedroom with twin beds and a bathroom.
The top level (another half flight up) has a loft with a
daybed and small TV, as well as the master bedroom with
queensize bed, walk in closet and ensuite bathroom with
steam shower. There is a large TV in the livingroom, with
DVD player.
The
front balcony (outside the dining area) has a propane BBQ.
The large back deck has a 6 person whirlpool spa. This is
accessable via sliding glass doors in the bedroom with the
queen bunks. Kitchen appliances are good quality and include
microwave oven, stove, dishwasher, fridge with door icemaker,
coffee-maker, blender and toaster. All necessary dishes,
utensils, pots, pans, and glasses are present. It is roughly
an 800 meter walk to enter the run just above the base of
the creekside gondola. One can ski out to about 200 meters
from the condo.
